GEMINIS GHT5 G2 1000 × 4000 cnc lathe: a high-performance lathe
In our post from last March 13thwe were talking about our weakness for the GEMINIS brand of cnc lathes. Lathes manufactured by GEMINIS LATHES SA, a leading company based in the Basque Country that stands out for the production of large horizontal lathes for heavy machining. In that same post we announced that we had acquired a GEMINIS cnc lathe model GHT5 G2 with a distance between centers of 4000 mm and a swing over bed of 1000 mm. Doosan is the leading manufacturer of lathes in South Korea with a clear presence in international markets. This Korean giant exports most of its machine tool production that includes all types of lathes to machining centers (that is, vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers or 5-axis machining centers). In the specific case of lathes it manufactures slant bed lathes, whether they are 2-axis, with a live tool, with an axis and even multitasking. Doosan, which acquired DAEWOO in 2005, has undoubtedly become a world leader in machine tools. The DOOSAN PUMA MX 2500 LST lathe is a used cnc lathe which stands out for being a multitasking machine with 9 axes. Summer is a good time to recharge batteries and come back with renewed energies to face new challenges. Back from our holidays and in the final round of the summer time, CECAMASA has once more an unavoidable appointment in the calendar: the EMO which will take place in the city of Hannover (Germany) from 16th to 21st September. The EMO trade fair is without any doubt the most important event within the metalwork industry. This world leading fair gathers the biggest innovations in the metalurgical sector. According to its official website, 2,226 exhibitors from up to 44 countries will be present at the show distributed in more than 180,000 square meters divided into 17 pavilions. The second-hand machinery of CECAMASA catches the public's interest in FITMAQ 2019
From CECAMASA we value our participation in the International Fair of Used Machinery and Equipment (FITMAQ), held from 4 to 6 June at the Bilbao Exhibition Center, very highly. We attended the trade fair with a 200 square meter booth where we exhibited two machines from our stock of second-hand machinery: a bed type milling machine of the reputed brand ZAYER, model 30 KF-5000 and a DOOSAN PUMA MX 2500 LST multitasking cnc lathe, of which we will talk in further detail later.
Trade shows offer without any kind of doubt an excellent opportunity for networking and what is even more important, they allow us to gather firsthand information of the needs of the market and, in that sense, this edition of the FITMAQ 2019 has not been an exception. This event has allowed us to make new contacts, at national and international level, meet again our customers and make new deals.
We are very pleased to note that the second-hand industrial machines that we showed at the fair have caught the general interest of the public: from the student of machining and the retired man impressed by the technological improvements achieved to the managers and workers who appreciate the performance of a good machine. In spite of being a bed type milling machine, it provides traverses like a traveling column milling machine with the benefit that a bed type milling machine does not require the foundation of a traveling column milling machine.

CECAMASA will attend the fourth edition of FITMAQ
In this post we announce that, once again, in CECAMASA we focus on specialized fairs of the industrial machinery sector and we will attend the fourth edition of FITMAQ 2019, the International Fair of Used Machinery which will be held at the Bilbao Exhibition Center (BEC) from 4 to 6 June. FITMAQ is a biannual exhibition that offers the best space for new and second-hand industrial machinery in Spain, with the attendance of leading companies in the machinery equipment sector, and Latin American firms, which see Spain as a major potential growth market.
This degree of specialization makes this a must event for professionals, from both national and international spheres, of the machinery equipment. This edition is also even more appealing as FITMAQ is included within the + Industry platform that will bring together a total of 7 shows that revolve around manufacturing processes and supplies of the Industry 4.0.
